Local Spots - Flattop (Restaurant Version)

A few weeks ago Joe and I took a day trip up Flattop Mountain. Walking in downtown Anchorage we found another Flattop, but this one was a pizza place and pool hall. It's brand new and shares a kitchen with Humpy's Alehouse. We were pretty impressed considering we are from New York, so pizza is a serious thing for both of us. The Mooses Tooth is pretty obviously the best pizza in Anchorage, but I wouldn't mind forgoing the long lines and getting pizza at Flattop instead. We ended up ordering the ice cream sandwich for dessert, which was vanilla ice cream in between two brownies... and it was awesome. We actually finished every bite!
